2024 Senior Class Information

Graduation

Scheduling/Length of Ceremony

The Commencement Ceremony will take place on Thursday, June 6, at 5:30 pm, on Karlson Field, and is expected to be between 90 minutes to 2 hours in length. Gates open at 4:30 pm. Tickets are required, with the exception of children under five. Graduates need to be at the Main Gym by 4:30 pm.

Commencement Ceremony Tickets

Every graduating senior receives FOUR (4) free tickets to the ceremony to be distributed to family and friends. For any family or friends requiring accessible seating, our bleachers on the home side of the stadium are equipped with accessible rows and benches (seating is limited). Tickets will be distributed at graduation practice on June 4. There is no reserved seating. Seniors must complete the Senior Exit Survey and clear all debts (return textbooks, athletic uniforms etc..) prior to receiving tickets. In addition to the four tickets that the seniors receive they can purchase six (6) more at $10 per ticket, cash only. Please see Sandra Jones, VP Secretary, in the main office to purchase cash tickets.

Attire for Commencement Ceremony

Dressy Casual with black graduation gown, cap and tassel (no denim/sneakers/flip flops). Distribution of graduation gown, cap and tassel will be Wednesday, May 22, at lunch in the Quad. If you haven’t ordered your gown, cap, & tassel for the ceremony it is important that you do so now using the following website Jostens. If you have already placed your order, then you are all set. Graduation Requirements

In order to participate in the Commencement Ceremony and receive a diploma, students must complete the Graduation Requirements established by the West Sonoma County Union High School District and the State of California. In addition to academic graduation requirements, students must have completed the Senior Exit Survey and cleared all debts owed. Students who have been placed on a Probationary Contract or who have been Suspended will not be able to participate in the Commencement Ceremony.

Graduation Practice (Mandatory)

Seniors participating in the Commencement Ceremony must attend all mandatory practices. Please do not schedule work, appointments or other activities during graduation practice. Practice schedule; Tuesday, June 4, 1:45-3:45 pm Analy Main Gym/Karlson Field and Wednesday, June 5, 1:45-3:45 pm Analy Main Gym/Karlson Field. Be prepared with a hat, water and sunscreen.

Diploma/Final Transcript/Chromebook/Email Account

All seniors are required to complete the “Senior Exit Survey” by May 17 (form will be sent April 1 to student email/student square/posted on Analy website). Students will use this form to request that their final transcripts be sent to the school of choice. WSCUHSD Technology Department will let Seniors know the procedure for Chromebooks. Students will receive a Diploma Cover at the Commencement Ceremony. Official diplomas will be ready for pick up by student or parent/guardian in the Registrar Office starting in August. Diplomas will not be mailed home. School email account will be disabled on October 7, 2024. AHS Registrar Nancy Siebert 824-2305.

Pictures

A professional photographer will be taking photographs of the students receiving their diploma. Proofs will be mailed to the student who will have the option of buying prints.

Tuesday, May 21, 5:30 pm Analy High School Theatre. Dressy casual attire.

GOWN/CAP/TASSEL DISTRIBUTION

Wednesday, May 22 in the quad at lunch.

SENIOR DAY AWAY

Wednesday, May 29, 9:00-7 pm Great America, Santa Clara, tickets $25 (includes admission to park/transportation/ lunch).

YEARBOOK DISTRIBUTION

Wednesday, May 29 Seniors only.

DAY ON THE GREEN

Friday, May 31 Analy High School Karlson Field.

SENIOR FINAL EXAMS

June 3-June 6

MANDATORY GRADUATION PRACTICE

Tuesday, June 4, 1:45-3:45 pm and Wednesday, June 5, 1:45-3:45 pm report to Main Gym. It is imperative for all seniors participating in the Commencement Ceremony to be on time.

TICKET DISTRIBUTION

Tuesday, June 4 right after Grad Practice.

COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY

Thursday, June 6 5:30 pm Analy High School Karlson Field. Graduates arrive at the Main Gym 4:30pm.
